United Way of Central Kansas Impact Grant Program
The UWCK Impact Grant Program offers funding of up to $1,000 per year to eligible nonprofit or governmental programs serving Barton and Pawnee Counties. These grants support meaningful projects that align with Health, Education, or Financial Stability — the building blocks of a strong community.
The total awarded through this program will not exceed $5,000 per year.
Who Can Apply?

501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations

Governmental agency programs
 - 
Applicants must serve Barton or Pawnee Counties
 - 
Grants are not available to individuals
 
What Can Be Funded?
- 
Specific programs or projects — not event sponsorships
 - 
Initiatives that address unmet needs, offer innovative solutions, and demonstrate measurable outcomes
 - 
Projects that align with UWCK priorities and show potential for sustainability
 
Note: Applicants should request the amount truly needed (up to $1,000) and provide supporting details to justify the funding request.
When to Apply

Applications are accepted year-round

Reviews take place twice a year — in May and November
 - 
Funding decisions are based on a scoring system tied to UWCK’s priorities
